Continuing the SSS Class series’ spirit of redesigning Chinese antiques, Vol.2 takes the Palace Museum’s Blue and White Lotus-patterned Flat Pot as its starting point, reinterpreting the linear composition of this Ming Dynasty porcelain, spreading the lotus’s shape across the fabric to create a full-texture floral shirt full of tension.
The pattern incorporates the round and square beauty of oriental window paper-cuts, echoing the 2025 Spring/Summer theme, "The Sky is Round and Boundless." The minimalist black and white contrast transforms the classical totem into a modern language. Wearing this print is more than just wearing a printed shirt; it's like participating in a cultural experiment in "body as a medium."
Drawing inspiration from history, the classic is reborn today. The passionflower totem, transformed from ancient porcelain, is not only visually rhythmic but also evokes a mystical cultural power.
